Mensen houden van controle! Dat kan, anno 2009, toch wel met een uitroepteken geschreven worden. Controle in de huizenmarkt, controle in de supermarkt, controle in relaties, controle op de werkvloer, controle in de sport, noem het maar op. Vooral de controle binnen relaties vinden we als HQ School een interessant gegeven. Mensen willen graag op elkaar lijken en trekken mede daardoor naar elkaar toe. Een beetje van alles hetzelfde, en vooral niet teveel verschillen, geeft veiligheid en niet te vergeten, eenheid! Als iedereen hetzelfde is en er niemand anders is of durft te zijn, is er controle. Maar waar ligt de grens?<\/p>\n

In Genesis\u00a0 11 lezen we het verhaal van \u2018Babel\u2019. Het volk had een plan, een goed uitgedacht plan. Een plan waarmee ze datgene wat ze hadden en waar ze het overzicht over hadden konden beheersen. God echter, wilde iets anders. De controle van mensen werd hem teveel en Hij greep in. Waarom zou God hier ingrijpen? Wat is er mis aan deze niet-stilzittende fanatiekelingen?
\nAls we goed naar dit bijbelstuk kijken begint er steeds meer iets te ontbreken. De verassing, de verwondering sijpelt weg. De controle gaat heersen, het Leven raakt zoek. God wil opnieuw op zoek naar het Leven, sterker nog, Hij is het!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
